Middleware Engineer

Role Overview

The Middleware Engineer is responsible for managing the middleware infrastructure that supports the BCC application suite. This includes maintaining Oracle WebLogic Server, Apache HTTP Server, and Apache Tomcat environments, performing JVM performance optimizations, managing SSL/TLS certificates, and facilitating seamless application deployments.

Primary Duties

• Administering and tuning Oracle WebLogic Server, including clustering configuration.
• Configuring and managing Apache HTTP Server and Apache Tomcat instances.
• Optimizing JVM performance through tuning and garbage collection analysis.
• Overseeing the lifecycle management of SSL/TLS certificates to ensure secure communications.
• Automating deployment processes and managing application restarts to minimize downtime.
• Maintaining comprehensive log management and providing troubleshooting assistance.

Required Expertise

• Proven experience in Oracle WebLogic Server administration and clustering.
• In-depth knowledge of Apache HTTP Server and Apache Tomcat setup and configuration.
• Strong skills in JVM tuning and garbage collection diagnostics.
• Knowledge of SSL/TLS certificate management processes.
• Ability to automate deployments and manage system logs effectively.

Additional Details
