Middle Mobile Engineer (iOS) - Foods & Grocery

Role Overview

Join us as a Middle Mobile Engineer specializing in iOS where you will contribute to the development of innovative mobile features within product teams. Engage in technical backlog planning and agile development, while collaborating closely with team members using a scrum-based approach. Effective communication in English is essential as you contribute meaningful value towards product advancement.

Project and Team Details

• Current application development began in Q3 2021, built from scratch utilizing a modern technology stack.
• The app is fully written in Swift with support for iOS 16 and above, updated regularly.
• Application architecture is modular, managed using Tuist.
• The team is exploring Swift UI and uses trunk-based development methodology.
• Open to experimenting with new technologies, including Kotlin multiplatform mobile.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new features collaboratively in product teams.
• Participate actively in technical backlog planning and sprint development cycles.
• Employ scrum-like processes to adapt and improve with continuous team feedback.
• Communicate daily in English within the team environment.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in native iOS development using Swift or Objective-C.
• Solid understanding of Swift/Objective-C fundamentals including collections, multithreading, and memory management.
• Skilled in building pixel-perfect custom UI views.
• Familiarity with Clean Architecture principles.
• Basic knowledge of HTTP protocol and version control systems (git).
• Understanding of object-oriented programming patterns.
• Intermediate English proficiency sufficient for communication and reading technical materials.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience writing unit tests.
• Familiar with trunk-based development workflows.
• Knowledge of VIPER architecture pattern.
• Experience using Moya and Alamofire networking libraries.
• Experience configuring continuous integration pipelines.
• Exposure to Kotlin multiplatform and Compose multiplatform development.
