Position Overview
The Mid-Market Account Executive will manage end-to-end sales cycles targeting sectors such as Payments, e-Commerce, Financial Services, and Technology. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will build strong client relationships, recognize business needs, and tailor Trulioo’s solutions for identity verification and risk management, using consultative sales techniques and strong technical understanding.
This role demands leveraging AI and emerging tech to boost productivity and decision-making, working primarily from our Vancouver office on a hybrid schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain a robust sales pipeline through targeted outreach and effective engagement of inbound leads.
- Generate a minimum of $400,000 in new pipeline every quarter through proactive opportunity sourcing and lead progression.
- Efficiently navigate opportunities through the full sales cycle, maintaining a balance between immediate conversions and long-term growth.
- Maintain a pipeline volume at least four times the assigned quota to ensure continuous performance.
- Conduct customized product demonstrations aligned with specific prospect needs.
- Keep Salesforce records accurate and timely for reliable sales forecasting.
- Target a sales cycle duration averaging 90 days or less while driving process efficiency.
- Employ AI tools to enhance sales capacity, productivity, and overall effectiveness.
Candidate Profile
- At least 3 years of experience in B2B software sales, particularly in new customer acquisition roles.
- Consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Proven expertise in pipeline development and deal progression, ideally familiar with MEDDPICC methodology.
- Experience handling deal sizes from $20,000 to over $100,000, managing a portfolio of 20+ active deals concurrently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present technical product details and business benefits.
- Strong business and technical aptitude with the agility to grasp new technologies rapidly.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills, coupled with confident and responsible use of AI tools.
- Self-driven with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to reaching challenging targets.
- Background in identity verification, fraud prevention, compliance, or financial services considered advantageous.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Salesloft, Clay, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ChatGPT, and Claude is beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 CAD base, with on-target earnings between $150,000 and $183,333 CAD.
