Position Summary
The Mid-Market Account Executive role, reporting to the Sales Director, is responsible for managing the complete sales cycle for new business opportunities within sectors such as Payments, e-Commerce, Financial Services, and Technology. This position requires building strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their business challenges, and aligning Trulioo's solutions in areas like customer onboarding, identity verification, continuous monitoring, risk management, and fraud prevention.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain a robust sales funnel through focused outbound prospecting, converting inbound leads, and strategic engagement of customers.
- Create a minimum of $250,000 in new pipeline every quarter sourced independently and through advancing qualified leads.
- Manage sales opportunities end-to-end with professionalism, balancing immediate conversions and future growth potential.
- Maintain a pipeline size at least four times the assigned quota to ensure steady performance.
- Conduct customized and engaging product demonstrations that address the specific needs of prospects.
- Keep Salesforce records up-to-date for accurate forecasting and pipeline status visibility.
- Optimize the sales process to achieve an average closing cycle of 90 days or less.
- Utilize AI technology to enhance productivity, decision-making, and overall sales effectiveness.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of three years in a B2B software Account Executive role focused on new client acquisition.
- Consistent history of meeting or surpassing sales quotas.
- Proficient in actively building, advancing, and closing sales pipelines; familiarity with MEDDPICC methodology is advantageous.
- Experience handling deal sizes ranging from $20,000 to over $100,000, maintaining 20+ active deals simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical details and value propositions clearly.
- Strong technical aptitude and agility in learning new technologies rapidly.
- Effective at building relationships and interacting across diverse stakeholders, with confidence in employing AI responsibly.
- Highly motivated, detail-focused, and driven to meet ambitious objectives.
- Industry knowledge in identity verification, fraud prevention, compliance, or financial services is a plus.
- Familiarity with sales and communication tools including Salesforce, Salesloft, Clay, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ChatGPT, and Claude.

Interview Process
- A transparent and engaging multi-stage interview process: initial recruiter call (30 minutes), hiring manager interview (45 minutes), panel or presentation interview (60 minutes), followed by a final leadership interview (45 minutes).
