Founded by health sciences students familiar with these subjects, the platform allows learners to purchase individual subjects or discounted bundles and study independently using recorded lectures by expert instructors, supplemented by practice questions designed to reflect real exam formats. Thaheen is active and serving paying students currently, and is now developing the next phase of its product including a mobile app for students, a web portal, and a backend to support both. The product prioritizes Arabic language users and the team remains small.

Role Overview

We seek a Mid-Level Angular Frontend Developer to enhance and expand the Thaheen web platform along with an internal portal utilized by the team and instructors. Responsibilities include building end-to-end features from interface to API integration within an established codebase, collaborating directly with founders and a compact engineering team. This role offers significant ownership and influence over the frontend development process and a direct impact on students actively using the platform.

Working Arrangement

This is a fully remote position, with direct engagement with founders and the engineering team through consistent check-ins and minimal unnecessary meetings. The focus is on deliverables and clear communication over fixed working hours, allowing flexible scheduling as long as the team remains informed and any issues are raised promptly.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy features for the Angular web platform and internal portal, covering UI through API integration.
• Create reusable UI components, complex dynamic forms, tables, dashboards, and multistep workflows.
• Integrate RESTful APIs managing various states including loading, validation, errors, and successes uniformly.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms such as route guards, interceptors, and permission-driven views.
• Maintain frontend state aligned with existing codebase patterns.
• Work with RxJS to handle asynchronous data streams.
• Support server-side pagination, filtering, searching, and sorting functionalities.
• Design Arabic-first responsive layouts including proper right-to-left text orientation.
• Diagnose frontend bugs and performance issues, identify root causes, and apply robust fixes.
• Write clear, maintainable TypeScript code and add tests when beneficial.
• Engage in code reviews and understand existing architecture prior to suggesting major changes.

Ownership and Influence

You will fully manage the frontend aspects of your assigned features, including component structuring, state management decisions, API integration, and robust handling of data and edge cases. Architectural changes affecting the broader codebase will be collaboratively discussed beforehand.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript.
• Involvement in at least one Angular project that has been deployed and used by real users.
• Proven expertise integrating REST APIs and implementing auth via guards, interceptors, and tokens.
• Proficiency in at least one state management technique such as Angular Signals, NgRx, RxJS-based services, or NGXS.
• Comfortable with asynchronous data flows using RxJS.
• Proficiency with Git workflows, pull requests, and code review processes.
• Ability to navigate and contribute effectively within an existing codebase without detailed guidance.
• Candidates with slightly less than two years of experience but demonstrated production-quality work are encouraged to apply.

• Expertise building bilingual (Arabic-English) or right-to-left oriented applications.
• Background in e-learning, course platforms, or SaaS products.
• Skills in creating charts, reporting tools, file uploading, or payment-related screens.
• Practice writing unit or component tests.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and frontend deployment.
