Role Overview

As a Microservices Developer within the CIO Technology Engineering team, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and maintainable Java-based microservices applications. Collaborating with senior engineers, architects, and agile scrum teams, you will deliver high-quality software aligning with business and technical needs. You will follow best engineering practices, participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies, and take ownership of your deliverables, troubleshooting issues while continuously enhancing your skills and understanding of the system ecosystem.

You will also mentor junior developers, foster cross-disciplinary collaboration, and contribute to the Community of Practice by sharing knowledge and adopting industry best practices. The role encourages exploring novel technologies to propel innovation and efficiency.
