Microsoft Purview Consultant

About the Role

We seek a practical Microsoft Purview Consultant to lead the end-to-end rollout of an enterprise-wide Information Protection and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solution. Our client is a global technology consulting firm dedicated to helping businesses modernise their technology stacks, cloud environments, data governance, and digital systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and configure Microsoft Purview Information Protection, including DLP policies and sensitivity labels.
• Develop and deploy document labelling strategies that span both on-premises and cloud/online storage systems.
• Manage the entire implementation lifecycle from initial configuration to deployment and post-deployment support.
• Ensure organisational-wide Purview solutions function reliably in live production environments.
• Collaborate closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders throughout the project delivery process.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Approximately 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview.
• Deep expertise in Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, and sensitivity labelling techniques.
• Demonstrated success in deploying labelling solutions in both on-premises and cloud contexts.
• Experience delivering full production implementations rather than just proofs of concept, workshops, architectures, or pre-sales activities.
• Strong familiarity with the technical setup and deployment aspects of Purview solutions.
• Ability to take a hands-on consulting approach, personally configuring and implementing Purview labelling features.
