Job description
Project Overview
We seek an expert Microsoft 365 AI Solutions Architect to craft innovative AI-driven solutions leveraging Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook for enterprise operations. The ideal candidate will extensively use Microsoft-native tools such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Microsoft Graph, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Entra ID.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural designs for AI-enhanced workflows integrating Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Dataverse, and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
- Create custom agents and guided workflows within Microsoft Copilot Studio by defining business rules, knowledge bases, thematic topics, interactive actions, generative responses, and agent sequences.
- Develop user-friendly workflow triggers and forms utilizing Power Apps, Teams applications, or Adaptive Cards.
- Automate routine business operations using Power Automate cloud flows including approvals, connectors, scheduled flow executions, manual invocation, and desktop flows as necessary.
- Ensure secure integration with Outlook (mail/calendar), Teams, SharePoint, user groups, and Microsoft 365 datasets with appropriate permission scopes and administrative consent.
- Implement knowledge grounding from SharePoint repositories, Dataverse, authorized websites, and external systems using Copilot Studio knowledge sources, Microsoft 365 Copilot connectors, or Retrieval APIs.
- Enforce comprehensive security and compliance frameworks involving Microsoft Purview sensitivity labels, data loss prevention policies, access control, auditing, retention policies, and least-privilege permission methodologies.
- Transform existing daily workflows into AI-augmented processes featuring transparent human review checkpoints before external communications, record finalization, billing, or client delivery.
- Produce detailed documentation covering solution architecture, data pipelines, permissioning models, licensing considerations, environment setups, upkeep procedures, and knowledge transfer guides.
Required Experience and Expertise
- Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Copilot Studio: constructing agents, managing topics, actions, knowledge bases, agent flows, generative answers, and publishing bots for Microsoft 365 and Teams platforms.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 Copilot features, including Copilot Chat and Agent Builder, differentiating between capabilities natively provided and those requiring custom Copilot Studio agents or Power Platform/Teams applications.
- Competence with Power Automate cloud flows covering approvals, integration connectors, scheduled jobs, manual triggers, document routing, email processing, automations related to SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, alongside error management and monitoring aspects.
- Experience in building Power Apps applications — both canvas and model-driven — creating elegant forms, dashboards, and streamlined guided workflows.
- Expertise in Dataverse covering database tables, relationships, security role configuration, environment and solution management, application lifecycle management (ALM), and data modeling pertinent to clients, cases, tasks, approvals, invoices, and workflow stages.
- Microsoft Teams development skills, including tabs, messaging extensions, bot creation, Adaptive Cards, and use of the Microsoft 365 Agents Toolkit.
- Capability with Microsoft Graph and Entra ID focused on app registration, permission types (delegated vs. application), acquiring admin consent, accessing mailboxes/files/calendars, team/group generation, and planning least-privilege access.
- Experience managing SharePoint, Teams files, and OneDrive environments, including document libraries, permission schemes, metadata, version history, templates, project folders, secure signed document archiving, retrieval, and governance practices.
- Proficiency with Outlook and Exchange Online features such as management of shared mailboxes, organization of project folders, inbound email processing, handling attachments and drafts, contextual calendar/meeting data integration, and carefully managing confidential communications.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Purview for applying sensitivity labels, data loss prevention policies, retention strategies, audit trails, governance, and compliance frameworks targeting legal and sensitive documents.
