Microsoft Cloud Security Consultant

Overview

Join our team as a Microsoft Cloud Security Consultant where you will collaborate closely with clients to implement security solutions on Azure and Microsoft 365 platforms. You will play a vital role in advising customers, developing solutions based on their requirements, and managing expectations while fostering strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer expert guidance and subject matter expertise to customers on Microsoft cloud security.
• Translate customer specifications into tailored security solutions aligning with defined objectives.
• Create detailed reports and presentations suited for senior customer stakeholders.
• Lead meetings and interactive workshops with customers to address their security needs.
• Effectively communicate project progress and requirements, managing client expectations and building professional relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects meet client demands and quality standards.
• Contribute to intellectual property development and create scalable, repeatable deliverables.
• Encourage communication and partnerships across the organization to enhance customer service delivery.
• Develop and maintain lasting relationships with a diverse customer base, identifying new and existing business opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications

• Formal tertiary education in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Valid certifications in Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft 365.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 Security Services such as Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender Suite, Microsoft Purview/Information Protection, Azure/Microsoft 365 Security Workloads, Microsoft Entra and Identity Governance.
• Expertise in modern endpoint management including Windows 10/11, Intune, AutoPilot, and Enterprise Mobility.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure Cloud Platforms, Azure Application Development, Azure DevOps or DevSecOps workflows.
• Familiarity with Azure Security Services and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
• Advantageous experience with Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well Architected Framework (WAF).
• Minimum of one year consulting experience, preferably within a global consulting firm or a large technology company across multiple environments.
