Role Overview

The Senior Cyber Security Engineer will join the Information Security team to spearhead initiatives in Threat Intelligence and Vulnerability Management, while enhancing security technology deployment across the company's enterprise infrastructure. This role requires broad cybersecurity expertise to develop high-impact solutions collaboratively across security, infrastructure, and business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the enterprise-wide threat intelligence program, ensuring accurate collection, analysis, and distribution of actionable intelligence to executives and technical stakeholders.
• Monitor and interpret global cyber threat trends, focusing on threat actors, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), indicators of compromise, and emerging attack vectors relevant to organizational risks.
• Develop and refine processes for threat intelligence collection, validation, and dissemination to support Security Operations and Technology teams with timely, relevant data.
• Continuously track vendor security advisories, bulletins, and zero-day vulnerabilities to assess potential impacts.
• Manage risk-driven vulnerability assessments and oversee remediation efforts adhering to service level agreements.
• Maintain vulnerability management standards and procedures, collaborating closely with system, application, and infrastructure owners to prioritize risks and remediation.
• Prepare and deliver executive-level reports detailing trends, risks, remediation progress, and critical security metrics.
• Enhance processes for threat intelligence ingestion, vulnerability tracking, reporting, and remediation by leveraging automation, orchestration, and artificial intelligence tools to minimize manual tasks and accelerate responses.
• Administer technologies related to threat intelligence such as Threat Intelligence Platforms, threat feeds, and their integration with SIEM and SOAR systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or operations, including at least 5 years specializing in Threat Intelligence and Vulnerability Management.
• Expertise in the threat intelligence lifecycle: collection, analysis, enrichment, correlation, and dissemination of actionable intelligence.
• In-depth knowledge of cyber threat landscapes and attacker methodologies following frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.
• Hands-on management of Threat Intelligence Platforms, threat feeds, OSINT sources, and integration with SIEM and SOAR tools.
• Comprehensive experience with vulnerability management tools, vendor advisory monitoring, risk-based prioritization, and coordination of remediation efforts.
• Strong understanding of common vulnerabilities, including OWASP Top 10, CVEs, and zero-day exploits.
• Proficiency in automating security workflows using programming or scripting languages like Python or PowerShell, including API integrations.
• Capacity to build metrics and executive reports to communicate the organization's risk posture and remediation status.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF and MITRE ATT&CK, and align processes accordingly.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Industry certifications like CISSP or CISM are preferred.
