Role Overview

The Microsoft 365 Architect plays a critical role in overseeing governance and delivering Intelligent Workspace solutions based on the Microsoft 365 platform. This role emphasizes agile methodologies to achieve business outcomes while offering customers continuous proactive strategic advice and operational support. The Architect collaborates closely with clients to drive digital transformation through cloud-first productivity and collaboration tools, ensuring standardization and acting as a subject matter expert and escalation point for technology operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain Microsoft 365 solutions for enterprise clients.
• Lead activities related to solution architecture, technical governance, and project implementation.
• Offer expert consultations across the Microsoft 365 technology suite.
• Develop comprehensive technical and high-level detailed designs for new projects and environments.
• Produce quality technical and operational documentation.
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert and escalation contact for operations teams.
• Engage collaboratively with customers, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful deliverables.
• Support team skill enhancement through training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.

Technical Skills and Experience

• Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 services and solutions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Entra ID and familiar with Microsoft Intune.
• Expertise in Microsoft Teams, including Teams Voice capabilities.
• Knowledge of Exchange Online and on-premises Exchange environments.
• Familiar with Windows Server technologies and device/endpoint management solutions.
• Experience with automation and scripting for solution implementation.
• Hands-on with migration and collaboration tools such as ShareGate, AvePoint, and Mimecast.

Professional Experience

• Minimum 8 years designing, deploying, and supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
• Proven track record managing delivery of complex IT projects.
• Strong foundation in Microsoft identity solutions and modern workplace technologies.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within diverse teams.
• Experienced in preparing architecture blueprints, design documents, and detailed technical documentation.
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement with excellent client consulting capabilities.
