Role Overview

The Microsoft 365 Architect crucially oversees the governance and deployment of Intelligent Workspace solutions within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. This role emphasizes business outcomes achieved through agile methodologies, offering strategic advisory and operational support to clients. The architect guides clients through digital transformation journeys by implementing cloud-centric productivity and collaboration tools, establishing standards and scalable solutions, and serving as a subject matter expert and escalation resource for technical operations staff.

Key Duties

• Design, deploy, and maintain Microsoft 365 enterprise solutions.
• Lead architecture, govern technical standards, and manage project delivery phases.
• Provide authoritative advice across Microsoft 365 technology suites.
• Create comprehensive solution designs for new deployments and projects.
• Develop detailed technical and operational documentation.
• Serve as escalation point and technical expert for operational teams.
• Engage collaboratively with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
• Contribute to training initiatives and mentor team members to build organizational capabilities.

Technical Expertise Required

• Deep experience with Microsoft 365 platform and related workloads.
• Proficient with Microsoft Entra ID for identity and access management.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune capabilities.
• Expertise in Microsoft Teams and Teams Voice solutions.
• Experience with Exchange Online and on-premises Exchange systems.
• Knowledge of Windows Server technologies.
• Understand device management and endpoint security solutions.
• Experience with automation and scripting tools.
• Use of migration and collaboration tools such as ShareGate, AvePoint, and Mimecast.

Professional Experience

• Minimum 8 years implementing, designing, and supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex project deliveries.
• Strong foundation in Microsoft Identity and modern workplace technology landscapes.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in preparing architectural, design, and technical documentation.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and client consulting abilities.
