MERN Stack Developer

Job Overview

We are searching for an adept MERN Stack Developer with proven expertise in building and supporting web applications. The ideal candidate should have completed development on at least 2 to 3 live projects and possess thorough practical knowledge of Frontend, Backend, RESTful APIs, and database handling.

Primary Duties

• Build and support web applications leveraging MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js frameworks.
• Possess hands-on experience with multiple live/production projects (2-3 minimum).
• Design, develop, and integrate REST APIs for application communication.
• Architect and maintain backend structures and services optimized for scalability.
• Maintain and operate databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL Server.
• Craft efficient SQL queries and manage day-to-day database tasks.
• Connect frontend components to backend API services seamlessly.
• Implement security best practices such as authentication, authorization, and protected API routes.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve issues across frontend, backend, APIs, and databases.
• Enhance performance and scalability of applications.
• Use Git and GitHub repositories for versioning and collaboration.
• Work closely with other developers, UI/UX teams, and stakeholders.
• Engage in testing, deploying, and supporting live web applications.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• Strong command of modern JavaScript (ES6+) features and best practices.
• Demonstrable experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Deep understanding of backend architecture and framework structures.
• Hands-on usage of relational databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server.
• Proficiency in SQL, including query building, data manipulation, and joins.
• Implementation experience with JWT and other authentication/authorization mechanisms.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Version control knowledge, particularly Git and GitHub.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and effective debugging skills.
• Experience with actual production/live projects, not solely academic or sample projects.
