Merchandiser - Full-Time Day Shift

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Organizing backroom stock following Backroom Inventory Management processes.
• Utilizing PDT and MMS systems for daily merchandising tasks.
• Managing product return procedures and exit strategies as instructed.
• Maintaining expertise in assigned product areas including inventory, placement, and expiry monitoring.
• Upholding store standards concerning visual presentation and current trends.
• Creating consumer-focused, easily accessible product displays.
• Receiving merchandise according to established policies and maintaining organized backroom spaces.
• Ensuring all receiving and return documentation is accurately completed.
• Supporting management in sustaining store quality and standards.
• Presenting a clean, professional image aligned with uniform and dress codes.
• Proactively assisting customers in aisles.
• Following all health, safety, store standards, and loss prevention policies.
• Performing additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong skills in planning, decision-making, and judgment.
• Efficient, well-organized with attention to detail and neatness.
• Ability to adapt to changing sales floor conditions.
• If handling cash, accuracy and efficiency in transaction processing are required.
• Some experience with computers and cash registers.
• Ability to maintain records and work independently.
• Self-driven with a motivation to complete tasks effectively.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely use a ladder.
