Merchandise Planner

Role Overview

This position is a full-time, on-site Merchandise Planner role based in Doha, Qatar, responsible for creating and implementing merchandise plans tailored to Mumuso Qatar stores. Key duties include developing sales forecasts, managing inventory levels, and crafting assortment strategies to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze sales and inventory data daily to forecast demand and plan stock accordingly.
• Maintain optimal product availability, reducing both excess stock and shortages.
• Collaborate closely with operations and store teams to align merchandise tactics with trends and revenue goals.
• Monitor performance relative to forecasts and generate routine reports to track progress.
• Recommend plan adjustments to enhance profitability and support the expansion of store operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Strong analytical abilities with expertise in demand planning.
• Experience in inventory management and sales analysis.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate effective cross-departmental coordination.
• Background in retail merchandising, category management, or merchandising planning is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with planning or ERP software systems.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related disciplines is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Doha while efficiently handling multiple tasks within a dynamic environment.
• Keen attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and reliance on data-driven strategies.
