MEP Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in managing projects from the design phase through to final completion including preparation and handover of documentation.
• Implement project plans effectively as per timelines and quality expectations.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure materials are purchased timely and according to company policies.
• Participate in regular site meetings involving architects, consultants, PMC, and clients to review project progress and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company safety policies on-site.
• Monitor daily activities of the project team to address any performance gaps.
• Conduct frequent meetings with the project team to align tasks and expectations.
• Ensure adherence by subcontractors to company processes and procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date EHS documentation in line with regulations.
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports on project performance, team efficiency, and labour management to senior management.
• Support the Senior Manager in providing progress reports to PMC and architects.
• Coordinate all on-site activities with stakeholders including architects, consultants, PMC, and clients.
• Assist in estimating additional work costs beyond the target budgets.
• Liaise with site teams about billing, handover documents, and as-built drawings.
• Ensure timely project billing submissions compliant with job site management processes.
• Work closely with subcontractors, project managers, and engineers to meet project goals within scheduled timelines.
• Coordinate with SEZ officers and labor forces to facilitate smooth operations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Carry out assignments given by the VP - Projects or Senior Manager - Projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• B.E. or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with over 10 years of experience in electrical project management.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Preferably skilled in teamwork and leadership roles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Google Workspace is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and documentation capabilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and work collaboratively within a team environment.
