Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and other stakeholders to craft mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system designs tailored to specific building requirements.
• Analyze building layouts and functional needs to establish optimal system designs.
• Calculate heating and cooling loads for HVAC selections ensuring energy efficiency.
• Choose suitable mechanical and electrical equipment such as HVAC units, pumps, generators, electrical panels, and lighting fixtures based on designs and load assessments.
• Ensure adherence to pertinent building codes, safety norms, and regulatory standards in all system designs and installations.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals for seamless integration of systems within the overall building framework.
• Provide precise cost estimations for installing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to aid project budgeting.
• Supervise construction stages to verify correct installation and conformity with design specifications.
• Advocate energy-saving and environmentally responsible system designs to reduce operational impacts and costs.
• Conduct testing and commissioning activities pre-occupancy to confirm functionality and performance benchmarks.
• Support ongoing maintenance and system upgrades to maintain efficiency and reliability post-occupancy.
• Diagnose and resolve system malfunctions swiftly to ensure uninterrupted operation.

Skills and Expertise

• Conducting site inspections and ensuring site readiness for installations.
• Overseeing seamless installation processes and guiding team operations.
• Documenting site observations with structured reporting and managing escalations effectively.
• Coordinating across diverse functional teams to support project goals.

Competencies

• Demonstrated ownership of responsibilities and delivering tangible results.

• Proficient knowledge of electrical wiring systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration.

Qualifications

• B.Tech, B.E. or Diploma in Electrical or Electronics engineering fields.
• Expertise in domestic house wiring, load calculation methodologies, and proficiency using AutoCAD.
• Sound understanding of power supplies including single and multiphase systems, inverters, and generators.
• Effective communication abilities and interpersonal aptitude.
