About the Role
As a Member Support Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for members of a prominent superannuation fund in Australia. Your role involves providing comprehensive assistance by answering queries, guiding members, and resolving concerns related to their superannuation accounts. This position allows you to make a meaningful impact by helping customers feel confident and informed about their financial futures.
Work Hours and Compensation
- Standard shifts from Monday to Friday, between 8 AM and 8 PM, on a rotating roster.
- Hourly pay rate of $29.45 plus a 12% superannuation contribution and applicable penalties.
- Employment is permanent and based onsite.
- Includes 2 weeks of paid hands-on training.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent support through various communication channels including phone, chat, and email.
- Listen carefully with empathy to understand member needs and offer individualized solutions.
- Effectively utilize multiple systems to provide accurate information and resolve member inquiries.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold professionalism in all engagements.
Candidate Profile
- Exceptional communication skills combined with natural empathy.
- Comfortable with technology and quick to adapt to new systems.
- Ability to remain resilient and flexible in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a contact center is advantageous but not essential; a positive attitude is valued most.
