Job Overview
Seeking a seasoned Mechanical Estimation Engineer possessing between 5 to 10 years of expertise in construction projects, with mandatory experience within the UAE construction sector. The position is based onsite in Abu Dhabi, requiring physical presence.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Conduct detailed mechanical construction cost estimations with 5 to 10 years of solid experience.
- Perform thorough quantity take-offs and accurate cost assessments.
- Evaluate and compare bids and quotations from suppliers and subcontractors effectively.
- Assess pricing for materials, labor, equipment, and installation activities.
- Prepare exact Bills of Quantities (BOQs), comprehensive estimates, and tender submissions that reflect competitive pricing.
- Analyze technical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents to support pricing decisions.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of market rates and project cost structures to enhance estimation accuracy.
- Exhibit strong negotiation capabilities alongside effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
