Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a proficient and meticulous Mechanical Structural Designer with solid expertise in SolidWorks and AutoCAD to enhance our Engineering team. The candidate will be deeply involved in the creation of structural fabrication drawings, sheet metal design, and industrial product development.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop 2D and 3D models utilizing SolidWorks software.
- Create detailed fabrication and manufacturing drawings.
- Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) to support production processes.
- Estimate materials and calculate component weights accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with manufacturing and onsite teams.
- Revise designs to accommodate client requirements and feedback.
- Ensure proper document control and maintain updates on drawing revisions.
- Perform site visits to client locations to gather and understand requirements.
- Develop design concepts aligned with site discussions.
- Engage in design discussions with clients and obtain necessary approvals.
Skills and Knowledge Required
- Solid understanding of mechanical structures and industrial platforms.
- Experience with railings, lifting structures, and tailored engineering solutions.
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Diploma, Bachelor of Engineering (BE), or Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
