Job description
Position Overview
This is a one-year hands-on training program focused on civil and structural design along with drafting tasks. The trainee will gain practical experience in using STAAD.Pro software for structural analysis and design, and AutoCAD for creating civil and structural drawings.
Key Learning Objectives and Responsibilities
- Build skills in structural analysis and design with STAAD.Pro.
- Develop proficiency in preparing drawings and drafts using AutoCAD.
- Understand engineering drawing conventions, detailing standards, and documentation procedures.
- Engage in design and drafting assignments related to heavy industrial buildings and structural projects.
- Apply Indian Standards (IS codes) and other international design codes relevant to structural engineering.
- Support senior engineers by assisting in the preparation of design calculations and detailed drawings.
Additional Information and Terms
Candidates selected after the interview will be required to sign a two-year service agreement with the company, indicating a minimum employment commitment period. Following these two years, employees may choose to continue their tenure with the firm indefinitely.
As part of this agreement, selected trainees must provide a signed cheque payable to the company without specifying any amount. This cheque acts as an assurance for the service commitment and will be returned upon successful completion of the two-year service term.
