Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to focus on the design and development of precast concrete moulds and associated fabrication detailing. The role involves utilizing SolidWorks to produce accurate 2D drawings and 3D models, as well as maintaining comprehensive engineering documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop moulds for precast concrete products along with precise fabrication drawings.
• Generate detailed 2D and 3D designs using SolidWorks software.
• Prepare and update engineering documents such as drawings, bill of materials, and technical reports.
• Revise existing designs in line with production feedback and customer demands.
• Liaise with Production, Procurement, and Sales departments to ensure seamless project workflows.
• Support project cost estimation, proposal drafting, and respond to technical inquiries.
• Ensure all designs meet quality benchmarks and are feasible for manufacturing.
• Keep design records up to date with correct documentation and version control.

Candidate Profile

• Basic knowledge of fabrication processes and sheet metal design is preferred.
