Role Overview

We are currently recruiting a Mechanical Design Engineer based in Chennai, specializing in the semiconductor domain. The position targets individuals with 2.5 to 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical and product design engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply expertise in product and fixture design to develop and enhance mechanical components.
  • Create detailed manufacturing drawings to support production requirements.
  • Utilize Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure design accuracy and consistency.
  • Work proficiently with Product Lifecycle Management tools, preferably ENOVIA, for design documentation and process management.
  • Employ Creo and AutoCAD software for design activities, including solid and assembly modeling.
  • Generate Bills of Materials (BOM) related to design projects.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech or B.E.).
  • 2.5 to 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design, specifically within the semiconductor industry.
  • Strong knowledge of product and fixture design techniques.
  • Proficient in creating manufacturing drawings and applying GD&T standards.
  • Experience with PLM software, especially ENOVIA, is preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Creo, AutoCAD, solid modeling, assembly modeling, and BOM creation.
