The Mechanic role based in Ivory Coast is responsible for ensuring that Expro's equipment and machinery remain operational and maintained safely at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update codes and operational programs for computer-controlled machinery; keep records of parts and materials used; request new parts as needed.
• Inspect components for damage such as cracks and excessive wear; document all repairs and maintenance activities performed.
• Analyze test data, machine error codes, and feedback from operators to identify equipment issues; consult blueprints and manufacturers' manuals to verify correct installation and function.
• Clean, lubricate, and adjust mechanical parts, equipment, and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Disassemble machinery to remove parts, perform repairs, and reassemble equipment following inspections, tests, or maintenance.
• Repair and restore machinery by replacing defective or malfunctioning components to maintain operational condition.
• Conduct operational tests of machines using tools such as voltmeters and other diagnostic devices to identify malfunctions.
• Operate machinery after repairs to confirm effectiveness and adequacy of the work done.
• Strictly follow the company's Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies; report any suspected violations or conflicts of interest.
• Comply with Quality policies, actively participate in quality improvement, and report any quality-related issues to supervisors for proper authorization.
• Adhere to Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, promote safety awareness, and take responsibility for personal safety and that of others by following established safety rules.
• Meet objectives set within the Employee Development Plan to enhance skills and performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proficient knowledge of machine tools including their design, uses, repair, and upkeep.
• Practical understanding of engineering or computer science principles applied to the design and manufacture of various goods and services.
• Relevant hands-on experience in the mechanical maintenance field.
