Material Pricing Analyst

Position Summary

Celestica's Global Supply Chain offers integrated, customizable supply chain solutions by operating as a seamless extension of customers and suppliers. Currently, we are looking for a Material Pricing Analyst for our Capital Equipment sector based in Singapore to manage material pricing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver competitive material pricing solutions aligned with company growth and margin targets.
• Manage multiple projects with support teams exceeding 10 employees per project.
• Collaborate with global customer units, program teams, finance, and sales to define material pricing strategies and align expectations on timing, precision, and scope.
• Lead supply chain projects involving commodity management, costing, and engineering to achieve target pricing and margins.
• Develop pricing proposals for new business bids and maintain pricing through product lifecycle, including BOM preparation, cost analysis, and margin recommendations.
• Advise on customer or supplier negotiation strategies based on analytical insights.
• Present pricing solutions to key internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze take-down trends and create models to support service requests.
• Conduct market research and perform product teardowns to evaluate competitiveness.
• Provide supply chain consulting and value engineering proposals internally and externally.
• Create and manage annual material margin build-up plans with stakeholder alignment and proactive project management.
• Consolidate and analyze commitment and performance metrics per reporting cycles.
• Continuously improve margin expansion, pricing competitiveness, cycle times, tactics, and process effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering (e.g., Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in costing and pricing in relevant market segments with knowledge of industry pricing, technology, and market trends.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Access for large data consolidation, manipulation, and analysis.
• Strong supply chain management expertise, including understanding of finance within SCM.
• Technical aptitude to interpret Build to Print (BTP) drawings and related requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, client management, and influencing skills.
• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail under tight deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize, evaluate, and solve problems effectively to exceed client expectations.
