Massage Therapist

Position Overview

The Luxury Collection is seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to provide exceptional massage and body treatment services to guests at our spa located in Ad Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves using appropriate props and products to deliver massages and body treatments such as scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy, while ensuring guest comfort, safety, and privacy throughout each session.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of guests’ needs and check for contraindications like allergies, high blood pressure, or pregnancy prior to treatment.
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, including arranging workstations and draping areas properly.
• Ensure hygiene standards by cleaning, sterilizing tools, and keeping work areas tidy throughout shifts.
• Provide professional escort for guests to and from treatment areas.
• Promote and sell spa and salon services, as well as related product retail offerings.
• Monitor treatment timings efficiently and respond appropriately to any guest safety or comfort issues.
• Handle inappropriate guest behavior by following organizational guidelines, including terminating treatments if necessary and escalating to management.
• Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe working conditions immediately; complete necessary safety trainings and certifications as required.
• Maintain applicable licensures and certifications according to regional regulations.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members; foster a positive work environment.
• Physically perform tasks such as standing, sitting, walking for extended periods; manipulating objects and using fine motor skills.
• Follow all company policies related to appearance, confidentiality, and asset protection.
• Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Technical, trade, or vocational school diploma or equivalent education.
• Minimum of one year of professional experience in a relevant massage therapy role.
• Hold a valid state or regional massage license or certification.
• No supervisory responsibilities required.

Work Conditions & Additional Information

This position is full-time and based onsite at 7628 King Faisal Ibn Abd Al Aziz Road, Diriyah, Riyadh. It does not support remote work. The job falls under the spa category within a non-management role. Employees must adhere to Marriott International's standards on conduct, guest interaction, and professional appearance.
