Role Overview
Datadog is looking for an Associate to join its global Campaign Operations team, supporting the Marketing team in the APJ region. This position involves handling the operational aspects of Datadog's marketing campaigns and the global email program. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced settings, shows strong analytical abilities, and excels at coordinating people, procedures, and performance metrics.
You will be pivotal in campaign execution, ensuring smooth operation and maximizing effectiveness across digital marketing channels, ultimately driving the success of marketing initiatives. Team collaboration, strategic thinking, and a results-oriented approach with a passion for problem-solving are key traits for this role.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Demand Generation, Field Marketing, Partner Marketing, Product, and Sponsored Events teams to create and deploy emails within Marketo, performing comprehensive quality checks to verify creative content, copy, and links.
- Support operational setup and execution of multi-channel campaigns, excluding copywriting, content creation, or design.
- Segment lead databases to construct targeted mailing groups for promotional efforts.
- Analyze campaign results to identify trends and generate recommendations for ongoing improvement.
- Work cross-functionally to understand campaign strategies and advise on digital marketing best practices and automation possibilities.
- Detect and escalate conflicts in email scheduling, audience overlaps, and strategic gaps relative to departmental goals.
- Keep abreast of latest email marketing legal and compliance standards, ensuring all activities adhere accordingly.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 1 year of marketing experience, preferably within B2B technology sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related discipline.
- Keen interest in gaining knowledge of marketing automation and analytics tools.
- Highly detail-oriented self-starter capable of succeeding in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across various teams while meeting deadlines without quality compromise.
- Positive, energetic, and solution-focused attitude.
Preferred Skills
- Experience using Marketing Automation Platforms such as Marketo, Eloqua, HubSpot, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, including Salesforce.
- Basic knowledge of HTML.
- Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in Excel.
