Role Overview

We are seeking a Marketing Manager specializing in Core Lab diagnostics at Roche Diagnostics New Zealand, based in Auckland. This important position involves steering marketing strategies, offering deep subject matter expertise, and delivering high-value solutions to our customers and patients. Reporting to the Squad Lead – Roche Diagnostics Solutions, you will lead complete solution cycles, forge strong partnerships, and foster business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement thorough marketing plans and customer value propositions aiming to boost business expansion.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of solutions, including pricing, demand forecasting, and market positioning.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, industry bodies, and healthcare executives.
• Lead market insights efforts, competitor analysis, and feature differentiation to inform strategy.
• Collaborate with Strategic Key Account teams to produce high-quality tender and contract proposals.
• Provide expert guidance across internal teams and customer engagement platforms.
• Stay informed on industry developments and test innovative methods to enhance customer value.
• Drive financial targets including market share growth and solution profitability.
• Work in partnership with local and global teams within a one unified Roche approach.
• Ensure adherence to supply chain, regulatory, and internal Roche standards.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and agile growth mindset as a role model.

Who You Are

• You have a tertiary qualification related to pathology, science, business, marketing, or an equivalent field.
• Experience in marketing, sales, or technical support within diagnostics or healthcare is demonstrated.
• Preferably, you bring expertise in Core Lab and Haematology.
• Possess strong strategic thinking skills, comfortable with systems thinking, strategic planning and cross-functional execution.
• Outstanding communication and networking skills enabling trust-building and long-term partnerships.
• Knowledgeable about healthcare systems, laboratory workflows, and oversight, especially in New Zealand.
• You demonstrate agile leadership focused on feedback, learning, and team success beyond ego.
• Highly driven to lead innovatively, challenge norms, and achieve excellence.
