The Role

We are seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee our Final Assembly team during the night shift, ensuring robust safety, quality, delivery, and performance standards, including assembly of our eShepherd product. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will manage personnel, coordinate resources, prioritize training, and support production activities to meet customer demand efficiently and with superior quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily manufacturing operations to meet production goals, maintain quality standards, and fulfill customer commitments.
• Manage labor allocation, skill utilization, and resources to enhance productivity and operational output.
• Set clear expectations, mentor team members, and acknowledge accomplishments.
• Facilitate training programs and promote opportunities for continuous personal and professional growth.
• Plan and distribute resources adeptly while adjusting to shifting business priorities.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, implement problem-solving strategies, and apply Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Uphold exemplary health, safety, and quality standards through personal leadership and example.
• Work collaboratively with the Planning, Quality, Engineering, Stores, and other manufacturing teams to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in a manufacturing, production, or operational setting within a supervisory or team leader capacity.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and nurture high-performing teams.
• Strong communication skills to build positive relationships across various business functions.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement tools, production systems, and manufacturing performance measurement is preferred.
• Interest or background in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and waste reduction is advantageous.
• Practical problem-solving abilities with sound decision-making skills, especially under pressure.
• A hands-on leadership approach, ready to support the team by engaging directly in work when necessary.
• Energetic, resilient, and possessing a proactive 'can do' attitude.
