About the Role

As a Bartender at Conrad Singapore Orchard by Hilton, you will be central to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences through crafting innovative cocktails and beverages. Beyond serving drinks, you will warmly welcome guests and ensure their visit is enjoyable and memorable in line with Hilton's renowned standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Place customer satisfaction as a priority by maintaining a strong service focus.
• Take initiative to resolve issues proactively while communicating effectively with guests and team members.
• Suggest improvements to enhance hotel operations and environment.
• Promote Hilton’s hotel services and facilities to guests and suppliers actively.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed for yourself and coworkers at all times.
• Serve beverages and food courteously, promptly, and in a friendly manner.
• Prepare drinks for servers and manage cashier duties within the lounge area.
• Possess detailed knowledge of beverage menus to explain offerings confidently to guests.
• Maintain bar stock and setup daily, including requisitioning necessary supplies based on event projections.
• Handle fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and perishables to preserve quality.
• Welcome guests warmly and accurately process drink orders.
• Prepare drinks using standard recipes with appropriate garnish and portion control.
• Verify guest IDs to comply with liquor laws and manage situations involving intoxicated patrons sensitively.
• Manage transactions accurately through the register, ensuring accountability of all beverage sales.
• Balance cash, verify charges, and properly document vouchers.
• Complete product knowledge checklists consistently.
• Know operating hours of all hotel dining venues and make informed recommendations to guests.
• Address guest queries promptly, seeking managerial support if necessary.
• Maintain service standards and cleanliness in designated areas.
• Take ownership of guest service experience throughout your area and greet all guests courteously.
• Exhibit professionalism, avoid inappropriate language, and report workplace incidents immediately.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Experience or certification in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or related fields is advantageous.
• Strong verbal English communication skills to support guest interactions and operational requirements.
• A genuine enthusiasm for providing outstanding customer service.
• Openness to learning continually and enhancing both product knowledge and service abilities.
• Adaptable to dynamic work environments and able to perform effectively under pressure.
• Team-oriented approach with a readiness to cooperate and support colleagues.
• Basic understanding of food and beverage service; training provided as needed.
• Capable of memorizing and confidently describing menu and beverage options.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends, public holidays, and extended hours.
• Maintain a positive, professional demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction.
