About the Role
Become part of ASB's leadership in strategic risk analysis as the Manager of Stress Testing. In this role, you will guide the bank's enterprise-wide stress testing initiatives, assessing how prospective economic, market, and risk developments could influence the bank's overall performance. Collaborating extensively with senior personnel across Treasury, Risk, Economics, and Finance divisions, you will transform detailed analyses into actionable insights that inform critical organizational decisions.
This position offers high visibility within the organization, allowing you to impact strategic directions, refine stress testing methodologies bank-wide, comply with regulatory requirements, and contribute meaningful commercial insights. You’ll have the chance to promote innovation, challenge conventional thinking, and enhance ASB’s resilience amidst growing complexities.
About You
- You possess strong analytical abilities paired with excellent stakeholder engagement skills across diverse senior leadership groups.
- You have a background dealing with financial metrics, risk management, treasury functions, forecasting, or strategic business planning, with a talent for synthesizing complex data into practical recommendations.
- You are inquisitive, commercially aware, and passionate about understanding fundamental drivers of business success.
- You excel in managing multiple competing priorities while building effective relationships throughout varied teams.
