Manager Store II - Retail Operations

Overview

The Store Manager will lead the store by setting and communicating a clear strategic vision. This role involves overseeing all store functions to ensure excellence across merchandising, inventory control, employee motivation, and customer relations. The manager will foster a strong team environment, delivering outstanding customer experiences tailored to the community while meeting financial targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a coaching culture passionate about food among all store personnel.
• Manage comprehensive talent processes including hiring, succession planning, onboarding, training, performance reviews, and compensation.
• Effectively communicate operational changes and store goals to all team members.
• Analyze and respond to local market conditions and competitors.
• Ensure flawless implementation of retail commercial strategies, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
• Lead by example in upholding high customer service standards daily.
• Collaborate with community partners to plan and support local events, enhancing store presence.
• Create engaging shopping experiences that build customer loyalty and drive profit.
• Guarantee adherence to all company policies and regulatory requirements including occupational health, safety, and food safety standards.
• Partner with local marketing teams to identify market opportunities and capitalize on them.
• Oversee efficient store operations to achieve financial goals and KPIs in a store with at least $10 million in annual sales.
• Stay informed of company programs and industry trends through ongoing training.
• Promote and maintain an environment recognized as an employer of choice by enhancing employee engagement.
• Manage ordering and maintenance of store equipment and coordinate necessary repairs.
• Execute additional duties as assigned by the company.

Qualifications and Experience

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of retail store operations across all departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Working knowledge of SAP software.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational credential.
• Between three to five years of experience managing a retail department.
