The Sales Operations team is integral to shaping commercial strategies and fostering growth through insights driven by data analysis. We are seeking an analytical and commercially savvy Sales Operations Manager who excels at translating complex data into actionable business intelligence to enhance sales performance and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate sales results, pipeline dynamics, forecasting accuracy, and market conditions to pinpoint growth opportunities and potential risks.
- Create and update dashboards, reports, and forecasting models to deliver impactful business insights.
- Convert complicated datasets into clear recommendations to assist strategic choices.
- Enhance sales workflows, improve reporting reliability, and boost operational productivity.
- Maintain data integrity, governance, and consistency across commercial systems and intelligence tools.
- Support sales teams by advising on systems, tools, reporting protocols, and operational practices.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Business Development, and Operations leadership to synchronize commercial goals.
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement aimed at raising sales effectiveness and revenue predictability.
- Mentor and develop junior Sales Operations staff.
Candidate Profile
- Background in Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence, Finance, Revenue Operations, Business Intelligence, Sales Support, Data Analytics, or similar commercial analytics discipline.
- Proven experience interpreting business or sales data and presenting actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Strong commercial understanding with a data-driven approach to influence business decisions.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel including complex formulas, data modeling, pivot tables, and reporting.
- Working knowledge of CRM tools such as Salesforce and insight into commercial data flow within sales processes.
- Familiarity with BI and dashboarding platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or equivalents.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, clinical research, healthcare, or other data-centric commercial industries is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage confidently with senior management.
- A proactive, solution-oriented attitude with a passion for leveraging data to optimize business outcomes.
