Job description
About Illumine Labs
Illumine Labs is an innovative SaaS company committed to revolutionizing childcare management with user-friendly, effective software solutions. We cater to nurseries, preschools, and childcare chains, helping them optimize their operations and enhance parent engagement. As we expand our footprint across the UAE, we aim to bolster our on-site sales team to support growth and deepen customer interactions.
Role Overview
This position centers primarily on field sales activities, dedicating around 70% of time to in-person sales efforts and 30% to nurturing existing accounts and follow-ups. Working under the guidance of the Senior Business Development Manager (BDM), the SDR will focus on direct engagement, relationship cultivation, and progressing deals, while the BDM handles strategic deal closures.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit nurseries, preschools, and childcare centers across the UAE to conduct face-to-face meetings and assist in on-site product demonstrations alongside the Senior BDM.
- Forge strong connections with owners, administrators, and operational teams to represent Illumine Labs professionally in the field and during events.
- Manage follow-ups with previous prospects and warm leads, fostering relationships post-demo to advance decision-making.
- Address queries and coordinate communications to support deal progress before closure.
- Arrange and coordinate meetings, site visits, and schedules with the BDM to ensure smooth sales activities.
- Keep prospects well-prepared for demos and maintain seamless continuity between interactions and subsequent steps.
- Maintain detailed CRM records including visit notes, meeting results, and follow-up actions; track account status and provide updates to the BDM.
- Gather and share valuable customer feedback, pricing insights, objections, and competitive intelligence from field engagements with marketing and product teams.
- Support pilot customers and early-stage clients as required, contributing to broader team collaboration.
Qualifications
- One to three years experience in outside or field sales roles, comfortable with extensive fieldwork.
- A background in technology.
- Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships and manage independent follow-ups and account nurturing tasks.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Possession of a valid driving license.
- Preferred: Experience selling to educational institutions or service sectors, familiarity with SaaS or subscription models.
- Knowledge of CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Prior support experience for senior sales or business development leaders.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive fixed salary combined with performance-linked incentives.
- Fuel allowance for travel across the UAE.
- Defined path for promotion to a full Business Development Manager role.
- Opportunity for exposure to international SaaS sales markets and expansion strategies.
- Comprehensive training and mentoring from experienced sales leadership.
