Team Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned financial and regulatory reporting projects which includes planning, budgeting, managing client relationships, and supervising staff delegation.
• Provide training and guidance on accounting standards and regulations for financial statements applicable to funds under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Identify, analyze, and disseminate recent authoritative updates related to funds, communicating findings to the Financial and Regulatory Reporting group and clients.
• Lead and support Financial and Regulatory Reporting staff ensuring accuracy and high-quality output; manage task allocation and thorough reviews.
• Set staff objectives, conduct performance reviews, and lead both individual and team meetings.
• Build and maintain strong connections with internal stakeholders, clients, and audit firms.
• Identify opportunities to attract new clients and enhance services for current clients.
• Compose and review engagement-related reports.
• Prepare bespoke reports for clients upon request.
• Participate in meetings and professional development sessions to enhance team knowledge.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience working with funds.
• Proficiency in both IFRS and US GAAP financial statements for funds.
• Experience leading accounting or audit teams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory compliance obligations for funds.
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
• Professional designations such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CFA or equivalent are preferred.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
