Role Overview
The Manager of Corporate Communication will be responsible for crafting and executing strategic communication plans that align with company goals, bolstering its reputation and brand image. This leadership position involves managing a team to implement PR campaigns, media engagement, and internal communication programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and roll out comprehensive communication strategies reflecting organizational objectives.
- Lead and guide the corporate communications team in public relations, media relations, and internal messaging initiatives.
- Oversee external communications such as press releases, media queries, and official announcements.
- Act as the organization's spokesperson and maintain strong relationships with media houses, industry partners, and stakeholders.
- Manage crisis communication plans and responses to safeguard the company's public image during emergencies or complex situations.
- Track industry trends, competitors, and media coverage to proactively identify communication opportunities.
- Work collaboratively across departments to ensure unified messaging and consistent branding across all platforms.
- Advise senior leadership on communication strategies and support internal communication to foster employee engagement and corporate culture.
- Evaluate the impact of communication campaigns and continuously refine approaches based on analytical insights and feedback.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related disciplines required.
- Advanced qualifications such as a Master’s degree or MBA in Communications or a similar field are desirable.
- Professional certification in Public Relations or Corporate Communications is advantageous.
- A minimum of 8 to 12 years’ experience in Corporate Communications, ideally within the Airport industry sector.
- Proven success in designing and implementing effective communication strategies.
- Demonstrated expertise in crisis communication and issue management.
- Established contacts with media professionals and key industry influencers.
