Role Overview
The Australian Climate Service (ACS) is seeking an experienced communications leader with a proven ability to achieve impactful outcomes in a fast-evolving and innovative setting. This senior position reports directly to the Executive Operating Officer of ACS and is integral to the ACS Senior Leadership Team.
Responsibilities
The Manager Communications is tasked with full accountability for the strategic communications operations within ACS. This includes crafting and executing communication strategies designed to effectively engage all stakeholders associated with the Service.
About Australian Climate Service
The ACS operates as a virtual agency with a multifaceted operating environment. It is governed by the Bureau of Meteorology, which holds the overall accountability, while also collaborating closely with four partner organizations. Together, they fulfill the Service's mission, vision, and goals.
