Job Summary
We seek a meticulous Risk and Compliance Auditor responsible for evaluating adherence to internal policies, regulatory mandates, and industry standards. The role involves executing audits, identifying deficiencies, analyzing risk factors, and applying corrective measures to bolster security and compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SOC audit processes, including collection of evidence, coordinating with control owners, resource scheduling, and liaising with external auditors.
- Assess potential risks within SOC operations to preempt compliance challenges.
- Examine programs and activities influenced by industry regulations, such as documentation, reports, and software systems.
- Propose and enforce improvements addressing non-compliance issues related to procedures and practices.
- Provide education, advice, and evaluation to internal stakeholders regarding SOX controls and risk mitigation strategies amidst evolving regulatory environments.
- Collaborate on project teams to integrate risk and SOX control considerations early and proactively throughout project lifecycles.
- Identify audit concerns and operational enhancements specific to SOC 2 audits.
- Maintain familiarity with cybersecurity standards (NIST, COSO, COBIT, ITIL) and third-party assurance reports (SOC 1, 2, 3).
- Demonstrate proficiency in compliance management tools and software.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology in IT, Computer Science, or Electronics and Communication Engineering.
- Experience: A minimum of 8 years in risk management and auditing roles.
- Certifications: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and ISO 27001.
