Job description
Job Overview
This role involves maintaining the smooth functionality of store operations through performing electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks. The technician will carry out preventive maintenance and acquire knowledge on food and beverage equipment. Additionally, there is an opportunity to learn about fuel and POS operations through in-house training.
Key Duties
- Troubleshoot, repair, clean, and upkeep equipment to ensure operational continuity.
- Facilitate necessary repairs to maintain equipment functionality.
- Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Participate in testing newly introduced equipment as assigned.
- Document and communicate work activities, irregularities, and ongoing requirements to support team collaboration.
- Use basic computer skills to send emails and complete company computerized forms.
- Engage in training sessions on existing and new equipment to enhance job knowledge.
- Contribute effectively to team goals by accomplishing related tasks as necessary.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Have 3 to 5 years of experience in maintenance or construction fields.
- Manual dexterity for operating equipment and working in confined spaces.
- Ability to handle power and hand tools; capable of crouching, crawling, and ladder use.
- Physical capability to lift up to 80 pounds.
- Telecommunications experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-priority, and confidential environment with multiple changing priorities.
- Must hold a valid driver's license and be insurable to drive.
