Maintenance Technician

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Perform both planned preventative and urgent reactive maintenance on various machinery, equipment, and production systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions efficiently to reduce equipment downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections and carry out scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
• Identify and suggest improvements to increase equipment reliability and operational performance.
• Maintain thorough and accurate records of all maintenance activities and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to address and resolve technical issues.
• Comply strictly with all health and safety guidelines and engineering standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a relevant trade qualification, completed apprenticeship, or an engineering degree.
• Have prior experience in maintenance, engineering, manufacturing, production, or comparable technical roles.
• Demonstrate strong skills in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Capable of working independently and efficiently as part of an engineering team.
• Exhibit effective problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills.
• Maintain a strong dedication to health and safety practices.
• Hold full legal working rights to work in Ireland.
• Availability to work at either Kildare or Dublin locations as required.
