Role Overview

As a Maintenance Technician working with Tesco in Reading and nearby locations, you will play an essential part in maintaining safe, well-functioning, and welcoming environments in stores for customers and team members. You will be embedded within a skilled team tasked with both planned and reactive upkeep of varied equipment and systems, ensuring seamless operation daily. Your technical expertise will help promptly detect and fix faults while prioritizing safety, regulatory compliance, and quality standards.

Candidate Requirements

Prospective candidates should display enthusiasm for upholding high maintenance standards, with experience in maintenance, engineering, or construction. Digital literacy using tablets to manage tasks and emails is essential. Specific qualifications and skills include:

• ONC qualification or equivalent.
• Possession of a full driving license.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with Office 365 applications.
• Completion of all relevant technical training and upskilling modules.
