About the Role
Join the Maintenance Team at Thistle Kensington Gardens, a recently renovated hotel near Queensway, London, featuring 175 rooms and three meeting spaces. As a Maintenance Team Member, you will be central to ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of the hotel facilities, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform both scheduled and on-demand maintenance tasks throughout the hotel to keep all areas in excellent condition.
- Rapidly address maintenance issues to reduce any inconvenience to guests.
- Carry out regular inspections to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with standards.
- Assist the team with larger maintenance projects and refurbishment efforts.
- Care for tools and equipment to maintain their optimal condition.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A strong attention to detail with pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
- Practical skills in maintenance and problem-solving capabilities.
- A genuine desire to contribute to positive guest experiences.
- Previous maintenance experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training and skill development support will be provided.
