Maintenance Supervisor

Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position of Maintenance Supervisor based in Jeddah with Bright House RealEstate involves managing daily maintenance operations across residential and commercial properties. The role demands oversight on all building systems and facilities, ensuring their safe and efficient functioning. Key duties encompass assigning maintenance jobs, supervising technicians and contractors, inspecting properties, and managing both preventive and corrective maintenance schedules. This position also requires maintaining maintenance records, handling tenant maintenance requests, enforcing safety compliance, and collaborating with property management to enhance tenant satisfaction, control maintenance costs, and quickly address urgent issues or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Proven background in directing maintenance teams and managing on-site operations for both residential and commercial settings.
• Comprehensive understanding of building systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, plus general repair and preventive upkeep techniques.
• Skills in planning, prioritizing, and scheduling maintenance tasks along with managing work orders and overseeing contractors or vendors.
• Familiarity with maintenance documentation, reporting procedures, and use of maintenance or property management software is advantageous.
• Thorough knowledge of workplace safety protocols, emergency response measures, and adherence to Saudi Arabian building codes and regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective interaction with tenants, coworkers, and external service providers.
• Analytical problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and capability to make prompt and prudent decisions during urgent or high-pressure situations.
• Experience in real estate, facilities management, or building maintenance supervision within Jeddah or similarly regulated environments is preferred.
• Possession of a relevant technical diploma or certification in maintenance, engineering, or comparable fields; advanced education is beneficial.
• Willingness to work full-time on-site including occasional evening or weekend shifts as required by emergency maintenance demands.
