About the Role

This permanent full-time position is based at our Palmwoods site on the Sunshine Coast. You will play a key role in maintaining both the cleanliness and operational functionality of the site through hands-on and preventative maintenance tasks.

Responsibility Overview

• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance tasks for facility buildings and exterior grounds using CMMS/Upkeep systems
• Maintain cleanliness and debris-free status of external areas such as driveways, carparks, pathways, and roads
• Perform small-scale internal repairs like fixing taps, toilet seats, light fixtures, furniture, and undertake basic painting duties
• Assist maintenance trades personnel with both scheduled and breakdown maintenance activities
• Help clean and upkeep facility amenities including eating areas and BBQ equipment, and support event setups
• Use equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts as necessary
• Receive training to operate the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) and provide operational coverage during operator absences including filter cleaning; eligible for higher duties allowance when qualified

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience related to general maintenance or similar roles
• Proficient in basic repair and handyman tasks
• Forklift and scissor lift operation ability, with licenses preferred
• Strong focus on detail aligned with GMP and Quality Assurance standards
• Motivated learner capable of taking on WWTP operational duties when needed
• Proactive approach with the capability to work both independently and collaboratively
