Position Overview

We are looking for a Line Maintainer to join our Operations team at 600 Clarke Road, London, Ontario, working the Night C shift (Monday through Friday, 10:40 PM to 7:00 AM, beginning Sunday night). This role involves ensuring production line efficiency and safety while supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out production tasks such as line changeovers, supplying and servicing equipment, and troubleshooting machinery problems.
• Conduct and record test runs, product trials, and collect relevant data.
• Lead team meetings, guide line members, and assist in training new hires.
• Participate actively in continuous improvement projects and initiatives like Journey to Excellence and Total Preventive Maintenance.
• Communicate any issues promptly to managers and coordinate with other departments as needed.
• Adhere strictly to safety policies and operational procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with successful passing of basic qualification testing.
• Physical capability to perform repetitive work involving pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs safely.
• Willingness to work overtime, operate independently, and thrive in a fast-paced production setting.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, troubleshooting ability, prioritization, and effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to complete training for McCormick’s forklift certification.
• Experience in food packaging or filling line operations is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP systems is considered an asset.

• The base salary starts at $24.22 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential.
