We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our technical team at the Moorebank facility. This role involves managing a group of skilled maintenance technicians to ensure continuous and efficient operation of automated systems critical to daily operations.

The Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team at Amazon Australia focuses on innovation and efficiency. As a supervisor, you will contribute to implementing cutting-edge technology and improving work processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of maintenance technicians by offering direction and fostering professional growth.
• Design and enforce preventative maintenance schedules and ensure facility compliance.
• Promote a culture of safety within the team and across the site to maintain high safety standards.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex automated and facility equipment.
• Collaborate across departments and represent your team in strategic leadership discussions.

Typical Day

Your role blends practical technical work with leadership duties, supervising electricians and fitters, solving equipment issues, and crafting maintenance approaches that ensure peak system performance.

Essential Qualifications

• Proven experience managing teams.
• Completed Engineering Apprenticeship equivalent to Certificate III or higher in a recognized Engineering discipline, including necessary licenses (such as an unrestricted electrical license).
• Hands-on experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
• Background in environments involving automation or material handling equipment.
• Proficiency using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for maintenance planning and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with programmable logic controller (PLC) programming.
• Experience managing multiple contractors.
• Understanding of statutory compliance requirements.
