Position Overview
The Maintenance Specialist role is an internal vacancy supporting the Bay Du Nord project, reporting to Andrew Corbett within the operations department. The exact work location is yet to be confirmed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational insights during concept development, FEED, and project execution to guarantee designs that are safe, maintainable, and suitable for purpose.
- Act as the representative for Operations Readiness during engineering workshops, design reviews, and risk assessments through the project lifecycle.
- Ensure incorporation of lessons learned from existing operations into project delivery and assist with Operations Readiness Plan development and execution for seamless transition from project to operations.
- Formulate strategies for maintenance, asset integrity, and critical spare parts to ensure sustainable operational performance; review and enhance operating procedures, maintenance plans, emergency response protocols, and technical manuals.
- Take part in system completion assessments, facility walkdowns, and readiness checks to facilitate safe handover to Operations; collaborate with project teams and offshore staff on operational readiness, recruitment, skills development, and successful project outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline preferred, though equivalent experience may be accepted.
- At least 10 years of management-level experience in FPSO operations, such as roles like OIM, TMM, or Maintenance Superintendent.
- Experience supporting first oil and startup activities is highly advantageous.
