Job Role Overview
The Lead Total Rewards Specialist will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, managing, and optimizing the total rewards framework across compensation, benefits, job architecture, and mobility. Utilizing analytics, market knowledge, and business insights, this position aims to assess reward effectiveness and uphold compliance with all relevant policies and regulations. A strong analytical ability paired with a dedication to continuous improvement characterizes the ideal candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, reviewing, and sustaining job architecture, job evaluation methods, job leveling systems, salary structures, and career pathways to maintain equity internally and competitiveness externally.
- Take the lead or assist in annual compensation review procedures, including merit increases, market pay adjustments, bonus allocation, salary budget planning, promotion evaluations, and compensation governance.
- Engage in regional and global compensation benchmarking surveys, analyze industry trends, and offer guidance on pay positioning and competitiveness.
- Carry out compensation analyses such as internal pay equity, compression, gender pay gap assessments, and workforce cost modeling to support strategic decisions.
- Create and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and routine workforce analytics to deliver actionable intelligence to HR and business leaders.
- Support HR technology projects, encompassing HRIS, compensation management platforms, and automation of reporting to boost efficiency.
- Ensure Total Rewards data, documentation, and reporting tools are accurate, confidential, and well-maintained.
- Coordinate global mobility processes including assignment compensation calculations, cost forecasting, allowances, and policy upkeep.
- Facilitate the implementation, management, and continuous refinement of compensation, benefits, and recognition programs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Preferably holds a degree in business or HR management with 5 to 8 years of experience in Total Rewards.
- Proven background in supporting Total Rewards initiatives across various countries and regulatory frameworks.
- Substantial experience overseeing compensation cycles, salary frameworks, incentive plans, market surveys, and job evaluations.
- Familiarity with developing job architecture, career progression models, and leveling systems is highly valued.
- Experienced in compensation benchmarking using recognized providers such as Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, Korn Ferry, Aon, or Radford.
- Exposure to global mobility, expatriate pay, or international assignments management is a plus.
- Competent in compensation data analysis, workforce analytics, cost modeling, and supporting business decision-making with data.
- Experience with HRIS and compensation management tools like HiBob, Workday, SuccessFactors, or SAP.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, complex formulas, and modeling.
- Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization and business intelligence software.
