Job Purpose

The Maintenance Planning Engineer specializing in Instrument is responsible for organizing daily maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment reliability and maximize maintenance efficiency. This role requires anticipation and elimination of potential delays by effectively coordinating human resources, materials, and services. The engineer must develop and implement maintenance plans that maximize tool time and ensure first-time job success with an emphasis on systematic, efficient, and economical execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily maintenance activities for instrumentation, ensuring work is executed correctly on the first attempt.
• Optimize maintenance tool time and work quality by foreseeing and removing potential obstacles in advance.
• Develop accurate cost and time estimates for planned maintenance to align with budgets and deadlines.
• Coordinate labor and non-labor resourcesincluding materials and services for maintenance jobs.
• Execute systematic, forecasted maintenance job planning with minimal uncertainty.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (12+4 years education), specializing in Instruments.
• At least 10 years of pertinent experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Fertilizer industries.
• Proficiency working hands-on with the Work Order module of SAP’s Enterprise Asset Maintenance (EAM), ideally within SAP S4-HANA.
• Experience managing maintenance-related master data including creation, update, and deletion in SAP.
• Good command of Microsoft Office applications and solid interpersonal and organizational skills.
