Maintenance Planner / Engineering Stores

Position Overview

The Maintenance Planner/Engineering Stores professional at Silver Fern Farms Waitōtara is charged with establishing and managing a planned maintenance system collaboratively with the Engineering Manager. The goal is to minimize breakdowns of processing equipment while supporting engineering project administration and managing the day-to-day operation of the engineering store. Compliance with legislation, corporate policies, and procedures is essential. Additionally, this role handles procurement and inventory oversight for all incoming materials.

Qualifications and Attributes

• Possess comprehensive experience and solid understanding of engineering principles and practices, emphasizing project management and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), particularly MEX.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, AutoCAD, CMMS, and MS Projects.
• Have a clear understanding of product specifications, customer demands, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Capability to collaborate effectively across teams and foster positive working relationships.
• Commitment to completing all mandatory training in leadership, health and safety, compliance, and operations.
• Although not required, prior experience in purchasing is advantageous.
• Adopt a practical, proactive, and responsible approach toward accomplishing team objectives and business goals.
